Additionally all guests and tattooers in the studio are required to wear a mask (KN95 & N95) at all times while in the building/studio space. If you are running late to your appointment, I ask that you please let me know as soon as you know. Please keep in mind that you may lose half or all of your deposit depending on how late you are - meaning half or all of your deposit will not go towards the final cost of your tattoo at the time of your appointment.
15-20 min late = $25/$50 deposit no longer applied
25-30min late= $50/$50 deposit no longer applied
30-45 min late = no call no show // forfeit your piece
Please do not no/call no/show to your appointment - I will not be taking you on as a client again if you no/call no/show. This is to protect my time and sustainability of my practice.
Pricing
My rate is $150-$175/hr with a minimum of $250 per session, $350 min for pieces 8in+. I will always send you an estimated quote prior to your arrival to your session.
I offer a sliding scale rate of $100-$150 for Black, Brown, and Indigenous folks. If you would like to request a sliding scale rate, please note that in the budget section of your booking form.
Travel Pricing
I usually charge an additional $50-$100 on top of the listed estimated price of my flash when I travel. This helps cover the 25-30% fee taken by the studio, accommodation and flights/busses trains/cars needed to get to the area in which I am guesting.
Deposits
To finalize your booking I ask for either a deposit or drawing fee
For flash booking, I ask for a non-refundable $50 deposit. This will go toward the cost of your tattoo at the time of your appointment and can be moved to a new appointment day and time if given 5 days prior notice from your original appointment.
For custom booking I ask for a non-refundable $75-$100 drawing fee. This will not go toward the overall cost of your tattoo as it covers my time in drawing/adapting your design. In the event that you dont like what I have come up with but want to continue working together, I will ask for an additional $50 deposit.
I additionally take a $50 REFUNDABLE deposit for touch-up appointments. At your appointment you are welcome to request a partial or full refund of your deposit.
I ask that all deposits be sent via Venmo. Your appointment, as well as the piece you have claimed, will not be finalized until I receive your deposit/drawing fee.
Do you do customs when you travel?
No. I like to just sick with my flash offerings and adaptations as closely as possible. This allows me to stay organized and mellow while I travel.
Do you do cover-ups?
I do not do full coverups. I do do blast overs, meaning I will tattoo a piece over an existing piece, however its not with the intention to completely conceal the previous tattoo.
Do you do touch-ups?
Yes! I encourage everyone to come back for a touch up. I still consider myself a learner of this craft and am always trying to refine my practice. By coming back for a touch up I am able to see my work healed in person which is essential to my growth as a tattooer. Because the majority of my work has at least some component of heavier fill, I assume all of my pieces with need an additional session. That being all being said, come get a touch-up, they are free and fun.
To schedule a touch-up appointment please fill out the touch-up request form linked in my Instagram bio.
How did you learn to tattoo?
I am self/community taught, meaning I did not complete a traditional apprenticeship to learn the basics of tattooing, but rather had many brave and wonderful people let me practice on them and had guidance from other queer self - taught artists. That being said, much of my practice relies on seeing healed work to implement new techniques and refine my style/craft. I have only been tattooing for about 2+ years and will probably remain a student of the craft for the rest of my career.
Anonymous Feedback Form
If we have worked together before and you would like to leave me some feedback about your experience, here is where you can do it! I really appreciate hearing what worked for you and what maybe needs some improvement about my tattooing practice, so I thank you for taking the time to complete this form.
Pre & Aftercare
Suggested Pre-Appointment Care
7-14 days prior to your scheduled appointment I recommend masking up in all public spaces, wash your hands and bathe frequently to maintain good hygiene and limit the risk of getting Covid, a cold, or the flu. Additionally, I recommend you start to limit your sun exposure as much as possible and wear sunscreen EVERYDAY reapplying frequently throughout the day (regardless of the season).
In the 5 days leading up to your appointment, please make sure your skin is nice and clean and moisturized, that you are getting a lot of rest and staying hydrated and nourished. This will be beneficial in both the application process of the tattoo and the first days of the healing process.
If you are sick, text positive for covid, have a sunburn — I will not be tattooing you.
Suggested Aftercare
Please leave you second skin bandage on for 3-5 days after your tattoo appointment. In the event that you are experiencing rash-like symptoms, I ask that you remove the bandage as soon as possible — do not try and push it to the 3 day mark if your are having an allergic reaction.
When removing your bandage, please pull from one of the corners to lift the bandage from the skin, rather than attempting to peel the bandage from the skin. After the bandage is completely removed, please gently cleanse the tattoo with anti-bacterial soap, rinse, and pat dry with a clean disposable paper towel. Please then apply no more than a pea size amount of gentle, fragrance free moisturizer to your tattoo (please do not use vaseline/products that contain a lot of petroleum jelly, or any thick creams/salves/moisturizers that may limit your tattoo from being able to breathe).
Please clean your tattoo anywhere from 2-3 times a day for the next 4-7 days after removing the bandage. Please moisturize the tattoo whenever it is itchy or dry. Please do not overly cleanse or moisturize your tattoo during these first few days.
Please refrain from intense exercise that may cause excessive sweating during the first 14 days after receiving your tattoo. Excessive sweating can both push fresh pigment out of the skin before its had the time to heal/settle into the skin and increases the risk of possible infection of the tattoo.
Please do not expose your tattoo to sunlight or water (aside from showers) for the next 10-12 weeks. When in the sun, please conceal your fresh tattoo as much as possible (just using sunscreen is not enough), for example putting a bandana over the tattoo while hiking or a teeshirt over your tattoo while laying in the sun.
You may start applying sunscreen to your tattoo around 6 weeks after your appointment. I recommend nothing less than 50 spf.
If after 8-10 weeks you think your piece needs a little touch-up, send me a healed photo via DM and we will schedule something :)
